The code that I'm trying to compile in Jgrasp is the basic helloWorld. I have OpenJDK Java 7 runtime installed (Because I read someplace that you need JDK to run Jgrasp). This isnt legal - you cant define a method inside of another method - so the compiler complains. I've had Ubuntu for a little while and i'm taking a computer science class programming in java. The open brace thats part of your printEven () method definition near the beginning of your code is never matched with a closing brace, so main () appears to be inside of printEven ().
